Morrigan’s best friend, Hawthorne, is a chaotic ball of energy who rides a giant flying cat (yes, really). And the hotel manager? A giant talking cat named Fenestra who is constantly annoyed by everything.
Favorite Characters
⭐ Morrigan Crow – Brave, stubborn, and full of heart. She starts off unsure of herself but slowly realizes she’s stronger than she ever thought.
⭐ Jupiter North – Think Dumbledore mixed with Willy Wonka, but even more mysterious. He’s the best mentor ever and always seems to know more than he’s telling.
⭐ Hawthorne Swift – The most chaotic, fun-loving best friend. If you love characters like Ron Weasley or Grover from Percy Jackson, you’ll love Hawthorne!
⭐ Fenestra – A giant talking cat with an attitude. She runs Hotel Deucalion and acts like she doesn’t care—but secretly, she totally does.
Anything I Didn’t Love?
There are a LOT of questions that don’t get answered right away, so if you love fast explanations, be patient—this is the first book in a series! Also, the first few chapters take a little while to set up the world, but once Morrigan arrives in Nevermoor, the story picks up FAST.
